MASS AWaRENESS PROGRAMME CONDUCTED BY IV YEAR B.Sc NURSING STUdeNTS OF SUBHARTI NURSING COLLEGE IN NEW MULTAN NAGAR & SHEIKHPURA, MEERUT

As a part of Urban Community postings, IV Year B.Sc nursing students of Subharti Nursing College, Meerut organized mass awareness programme, Rally and Demonstrations from 19/11/2014 to 21/11/2014 in urban areas of New Multan Nagar and Sheikhpura, Meerut.
1st Day- 19/11/2014
Event: - Role play on “Immunization and New born care”, Demonstration on Hand washing, Kangaroo mother care & ORS Preparation.
Theme: - Safe children, safe future & Immunization- A step towards the safe future.
Beneficiaries: - Married Women, Children and Antenatal Mothers
Venue: New Multan Nagar, Meerut
Methodology: 

• Role play on Immunization and New Born Care
• Demonstration and Return Demonstration on Hand Washing

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2014

Staff and students of Panna Dhai Maa Subharti Nursing College celebrated the World Mental Health Day on 20th October, 2014. Theme of the day was "Living with Schizophrenia". During the program various role plays & quiz were was organized by B.Sc (N) III year and GNM II Year and Department of Mental Health Nursing and Department of Psychiatry.

2nd  Day- 20/11/2014
Event: - Rally & Role play on “Environmental sanitation & Personal Hygiene”, Demonstration on Water Purification, Proper method of waste disposal in village
Theme: - Swatchatha- Jeene ki Raha
Beneficiaries:- Under five and school age children, Old age people, Mothers and Adult Males.
Venue: New Multan nagar, Meerut
Methodology:

• Role play on “Environmental sanitation & Personal Hygiene” (Swatchatha- Jeene ki Raha)
• Demonstration on Water Purification, Proper method of waste disposal in village.

            Students distributed Soaps and ORS packets to Public and children. Overall programme was successful and educative

Event: - Role play on “Safe motherhood & Contraceptives”, Demonstration on Antenatal Diet & Antenatal Exercise.
Theme: - Surakshith jachcha swasth bachcha
Beneficiaries:- Mothers of Under five children, Antenatal mothers.
Venue: Sheikhpura, Meerut
Methodology:

• Role play on “Safe motherhood & Contraceptives
• Demonstration on Antenatal Diet & Antenatal Exercise

            Distributed food packets to antenatal mothers which consist of nuts and jaggery.
